The Boys & Girls Clubs of Utah County 2nd annual 5k Run for Youth will be held June 27, 2009. The running route begins at the historic Fort Utah Park located at 200 N Geneva Rd. in Provo. From the park the route meanders along the peaceful Provo River, canopied by majestic and lush trees and vegetation. After winding through the trees for 5 kilometers the race ends at the Utah Lake Park where United Way shuttles will transport runners back to starting line at Fort Utah Park.
The event starts at 9:00am with pre-run ceremonies lasting 15 minutes. There will be a light breakfast available before and after the race at Fort Utah Park. All race participants will receive a stylish shirt and the chance to win some prizes! Thank you for giving back to the youth in our community through your participation in this event.

Girls Club is to inspire and enable all young people to reach their
full potential. Boys & Girls Club youth development professionals
work with local volunteers to deliver quality evidence based programs
and activities that inspire and enable kids to BE GREAT and to reach
their full potential.
